Our Vision

An inspiring physical space and dynamic mobile outreach delivering exceptional educational and experiential opportunities for all children and adults; captivating imaginations and developing real-world skills through playful learning experiences.

The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast (TCM) is in the heart of Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach. The Children's Museum opened in August 2008 and has welcomed over 400,000 visitors and over 50,000 students have experienced the power of education through our field trip and outreach programs. The museum continues to grow and flourish each year. Future plans include: expansion of the explorers gallery.

With a mission to offer children and families a place to explore and learn through hands-on, interactive activities, the Children’s Museum exhibits will reflect Florida’s unique character.

The Children’s Museum is a family-friendly place that features bright, creative and hands on exhibits designed to spark discovery and creative thinking. Like children’s museums throughout the country, the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast, exists to support the very simple, but profound truth, children learn through play and that for the youngest among us, play provides the essential foundation for lifelong learning.

It is our great hope that EVERY child
has the opportunity to experience the power of play
here at the Children's Museum.

For children, play is exceedingly serious... and important! In fact, play is a way for children to learn who they are, how the world works, solve problems, and to express feelings.

Yes play is the real work of childhood, and for young people today, many children’s museums offer play experiences that other settings are not able to give them.
