About

TCMTC is a vibrant and growing nonprofit children’s museum located in the heart of beautiful Indian Riverside Park, Jensen Beach, Florida. TCMTC provides award-winning learning experiences for children with innovative play-based exhibits, creative programs and community engaging events. TCMTC has grown steadily since opening in 2008, with 90,000 annual visitors, including family visits, field trips, summer camps, special events. TCMTC is an advocate for the power of play in positive childhood development and maintains a bold commitment to access and inclusion. Widely known as a creative and playful learning and entertainment destination, TCMTC also offers exceptional spaces for meetings and special events.

Current Employment Opportunities

Party Host / Floor Staff:

  • Maintain fun, outgoing attitude toward children and birthday party guests

  • Set up and clean up for birthday parties

  • Assist in serving food, cake and any additional assistance party parents need

  • Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and engaging guests, answering questions and resolving problems (referring tougher problems to the supervisor as necessary) 

  • Inform Guests of the museum layout, events, activities and exhibits

  • Maintain a clean party room closet. Organize all areas and keep swept and mopped

  • Perform opening and closing procedures in museum areas

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all exhibit spaces including, floors, all surfaces and pieces related to exhibits

  • Maintain control of various exhibits and evaluate need in regards to restocking supplies

  • Work independently and as a team player to ensure that museum exhibits, restrooms, floors and all public areas are clean as needed and presentable to guests at all times 

  • Learn and understand the function of the exhibits and how to best utilize each exhibit to ensure that guests have a fun, unique and memorable visit

  • Reset museum exhibits promptly to maintain seamless experience for guests

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Summer Education Team Member

  • Assist with organizing and leading field trips and outreach programs for school groups and community organizations

  • Support and lead activities during summer camp

  • Engage with children in hands-on learning experiences and workshops

  • Help prepare materials and set up for educational programs and events

  • Assist with daily museum operations, ensuring a positive and educational visitor experience

  • Collaborate with the education team to implement creative and effective learning activities

  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment
